Where Is It Located? (Traveler’s Rest SC)

Travelers Rest Sc is located in Greenville County, South Carolina. It lies on both sides of SC 101 between Travelers Rest Road and Gibbs Drive, with a small portion on both sides of Plumtree Road. According to the United States Census Bureau, it has a total area of 6.7 square miles (17 km2), all land. The city shares borders with Tanglewood Park at its northeast corner, Conestee Mill Village at its southeast corner, and Simpsonville at its southwest corner. Downtown Greenville is 12 miles (19 km) south of Travelers Rest by US 276 or SC 14/Haywood Road through Greenville suburbs such as Mauldin and Simpsonville.

 

When Can I Visit?

The site is open year-round, although hours vary by season. During peak travel times (April through October), The Traveler’s Rest Sc is open from 9 am-5 pm daily. Hours during shoulder season (November through March) are a bit more variable, but expect The Inn at Travelers Rest to be open at least 8 am-4 pm Monday through Saturday and 10 am-2 pm on Sunday. This means you can easily make a day trip if you’re staying in Greenville or Columbia and are looking for something fun to do with your family that isn’t going over budget.
